Discussion about Charter School Laws and Freedom Academy by City and State Leaders
There is a great conversation about possible changes to charter school law going on with lawmakers and concerned citizens at Our Provo's Facebook page.
The problem with giving more control to the local elected leaders is that they refuse to take the time to learn all sides of the issues. They will take the side of who screams the loudest. State laws were put in place because local leaders have been shown to abuse the system. If the neighborhood feels like a better location is warranted then get out your checkbook and help the school buy and improve a better piece of land.
